Why we call it “Brown”
Originally referred to as our Brown rum, our rum is the maturated version of the base style of Siddiqui. Because this is our oak-aged style, we went with “Brown” in honor of the historical style of aging rum in American oak barrels. This classic brown rum taste like a whiskey with the silky smoothness of a rum.
Our process to make rum is a closely-guarded secret. Not to spoil it, but we utilize a special process in which we age our rum in the finest oak available. This is what sets us apart from the typical style of darker rums.
