sf_award_2016Earlier this year, the annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition was held, and out of almost two thousand entries from over 70 countries, Siddiqui was honored to received a bronze medal for our Classic Brown Rum.

Thirty-nine of the greatest spirits experts in the world judged the competition from March 17-20th at the Hotel Nikko. This was the first time we submitted any rum to the SF Word Spirits Competition, but as a young company, it’s encouraging to get such positive feedback from such a renowned organization.

According to the SFWSC, a bronze medal is defined as “a well-crafted spirit that deserves recognition.” And while we’ve known that for awhile about our Classic Rum, we’re excited that more and more people are realizing that too.

We’ll be sending our rums out to more and more competitions this year, and we’ll be sure to update you all right here on any other awards or medals.

Thanks again for reading, and as always, don’t forget your friend Sid.
